HON. GUILLERMO G. SALAS, JR. is a very good man living a modest life in Barangay Campaasan, Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro. He is a proud progeny of the former Municipal Mayor, Guillermo H. Salas, Sr. and a reliable brother to also former Municipal Mayor, Gemma G. Salas, wherein he was able to gain knowledge and experience in public governance by being his sister’s Private Secretary from year 1998 to 2004. He continued the legacy of his family as he started his political career in May of 2004 when he was elected as Sangguniang Bayan Member and finished his 3 terms June of 2013. Because of his excellence in public service, he earned trust and respect from the Bulalacaonons and reelected for the same position for one term from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, he returned again in the same position and won the hearts of Bulalacaonons. His charisma and recognizable performance garnered him the highest votes in his reelection for the same position in May of 2025.
